The Chinese battery is quickly discharged. Why does your Android phone run out quickly?

Buying a smartphone, we hope that it battery   will allow you to be constantly in touch for a long period of time. However, with active use, almost all smartphones operate on a single charge for no more than 36 hours, regardless of which platform it works on - Android, iOS or Windows Phone.

Especially fast the batteries run out   smartphones with large screens and two SIM cards, but sometimes you have to constantly charge even brand new mobile phones with not too intensive use. If you bought your smartphone recently and use it mainly only for calls, but its charging is not enough even for a day, then the reason for this may be:

1.Bad battery quality. As you know, a good thing cannot be cheap. If you bought Chinese-made, it is best to always carry charger   and plan your day around the outlet. Even among the so-called "originals" there are few good batteries, so in order not to fall for the tricks of dishonest sellers, it is better to buy branded batteries, such as Galilio, KVANTA Ultra and CRAFTMANN. They cost a little more, but there is no doubt in their quality. 2.Long talk. The mobile phone’s battery sits faster during a call than in standby. Therefore, do not be surprised if you like to chat and the battery runs out by lunchtime. And if the battery charge is not enough even until the evening with rare conversations for no more than 5 minutes, then the reason for this may be a poor level of network signal reception. If you work or study in a place where the signal level is low, then the phone requires more energy to provide communication. Accordingly, in this case it will be discharged much faster.

3.Manufacturing defects. If your smartphone is relatively new and its charging   quickly sits down, despite the fact that you do not talk on it for long and use functions such as GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth only when you really need them, then most likely the phone has some kind of factory marriage or you sold a "gray" smartphone. This may be a malfunction of the processor, radio module, amplifier or antenna. In any case, you need to contact the store where you bought it. In this case, it will be necessary to present them with a smartphone, a check and his passport. They will direct you to the service center, where you must replace the defective part or battery, and sometimes, to extend the battery charging time it may be enough to adjust its settings.

But most often, the smartphone’s battery starts quickly discharge   for those who have been using it for a long time and the warranty period on its battery has already expired. Usually the warranty period for smartphone batteries is 6 months and if low battery   began to be consumed quickly after this time, then pay attention to the appearance of the battery.

The battery must be in the form of an even parallelepiped, if there are any deformations on it or it is swollen, then it is not safe to use it. When charging a smartphone, even a micro explosion can occur, which can damage the board of the device itself. Even if the appearance of the battery is normal, and its life is more than 2 years and it quickly sets, this means that it must be urgently replaced with a new one. Any slight drop or sudden temperature changes lead to deterioration of the contacts in the filling and cause various problems with charging.

Well, if the battery of your smartphone is in good condition and you only want to extend its life without recharging, then in this case it is enough to adhere to the following tips:
1. Make the screen brightness less. The most “gluttonous” part of charging your smartphone is the screen. It is because of it that the battery quickly sits down. To find out what the most energy is spent on, go to the “Settings” item of your smartphone, then select “Power” and find the “Battery Usage” section. Here you can see data about what quickly “eats” the battery life of your smartphone. Most often, it shows that about 60% of the energy is spent on servicing the smartphone display. To reduce this figure, you need to reduce the screen brightness to at least 70%.

To do this, go to "Screen Settings", then to "Brightness" and make the images on the displays visible clearly enough, but not too bright. If you installed live wallpapers on the screen, then be prepared for the fact that you will have to charge the smartphone much more often. Conversely, dark static wallpaper on the main screen will save battery life. Do not forget also about the display backlight, which is not less gluttony. Adjust it so that it shuts off automatically for a period of 10-15 seconds.

2. Disable Unnecessary Modules. GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules should only be active when they are needed. If you do not need them at the moment, then temporarily disable them. They strongly put the battery, for example, consumes about 300-350 mA / h. Also, a lot of resources are taken away by constantly listening to music, watching movies and playing games. They require maximum operation of the graphics accelerator and processor, which, in combination with a constantly working screen, leads to the fast consumption of smartphone charging.

3. Close applications. Install the program on the smartphone Advanced task killer, which will automatically turn off Android background applications that consume a lot of energy. Some of the modern applications that are open in the background not only drain the battery, but also use the GPS receiver and pull traffic   from the Internet.

And for those who do not want to charge the smartphone often, to extend the battery life on the Android platform, you can also try to turn off the automatic system update and calibrate the battery.

If you notice that the battery on your smartphone has started to run out quickly, you can try to increase its service life using some methods yourself, but if you are afraid that you will not succeed, we recommend that you contact a trusted service center where they will perform a full diagnosis and quality repairs. Well, if you still decide to deal with the problem of quick discharge on your own, then for this you will need to make some changes in the settings of the device itself.

  • First of all, turn off the screen animation mode. To do this, go to Settings - Screen - Animation - without animation.
  • Reduce the total number of different shortcuts on the desktop, the number of widgets.
  • Turn off the vibration alert
  • If possible, do not use “speakerphone” /
  • Change the brightness of the screen if you have a large indicator. 50% brightness will be enough for comfortable use of the device.
  • Deactivate the Auto-rotate screen feature.
  • Reduce screen auto-off time.
  • Disable live wallpaper.
  • Disable Auto Sync and Background. To do this, go to Settings - Accounts - Sync.
  • If the battery runs out quickly on your smartphone, you can try to turn off services such as GPS, mobile Internet, Bluetooth and WiFi, and turn them on only during their use.

If you notice that for some reason the battery began to discharge quickly (for example, it used to last for several days), and now it began to discharge in 8-10 hours, while the load remains at the same level, check your smartphone for hidden viruses, because it is for this reason that the battery life is sharply reduced and the installation of an antivirus program does not always protect against virus attacks.

In some cases, viruses may be contained in falyh updates, which are automatically downloaded to the device. To prevent this, later download the latest version of the antivirus program from the application store and do a full scan of all programs, applications and files on your smartphone.

Also, the reason that the battery on the smartphone runs out quickly may be because some of the applications consumes a large amount of its charge or does not allow the device to go into sleep mode. Check if there is such an application on your smartphone by deleting the last downloaded application and rebooting the device.

If this method does not help, reset to factory settings. Checking each application for its “gluttony” is a rather tedious task, so using a reset, you can check why the battery on the smartphone began to run out faster.

Another way is to calibrate the device’s charge. But in order to start the calibration process you will need:
  1. Completely discharge the battery of the smartphone and remove it.
  2. After a few minutes, reinsert the battery.
  3. Not including a smartphone, charge it for 8-10 hours.
  4. Remove the battery and after 2-3 minutes insert it back into the device.
  5. Turn on the smartphone.

If you tried all the ways to restore battery life, but the smartphone continues to run out quickly, then there is only one way out - to change the battery, because the reason for the fast discharge lies in its expended resource, which means that its life has come to an end.

Today it is difficult for me to imagine my life without a smartphone, it performs many of my tasks at the same time. And I already give even more than a tablet, since it is always at hand. But it also has a drawback - the battery runs out quickly. Why does the battery run out quickly?

The current generation of mobile phones is no longer phones in the truest sense of the word. In their functions, they more and more resemble a small computer, for which for some reason you can also call. But, the more functions a smartphone performs, the more acute one problem is brewing: battery saving.

Moreover, it is on Android that they are the most short-lived, that is, charging sits faster than on other modern gadgets. It's just that the smartphone is small and its battery is small, which means less capacity. And ambition for a full-fledged computer ....

What discharges the battery most?

Most of all, the battery goes on the Internet, but without it, few smartphone owners now imagine their lives. So to save battery power on this will not succeed for sure. Plus, watching videos, listening to music, uploading photos. And actually the conversations - the direct function of a mobile phone - have not yet been canceled.

Is the battery running out quickly? There is an exit!

And you can find a way out in such a small little thing as a program for android to save battery. Download, install - and use. And the battery at the same time does not lose its charge as significantly as before. An overview of the most popular battery savers on Android can be found. following this link.

Programs of this kind exist not so little, but the most famous among them are:

Battery saver. Here the name speaks for itself. The principle of operation is this: when the application feels that the battery is running down, everything that is possible is automatically turned off (backlight, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, vibration, synchronization). In the settings, you can manually select those functions that you do not want to disable. However, users note that in this case the level of charge that the program shows is not always true.

GreenPower Free Battery Saver. Automatically turns on and off everything that is not needed at the moment. Among the undoubted advantages is the real saving of charging and ease of use, but among the minuses is the large amount that the program takes. In addition, not all functions work in the free version.

Bataria. Easy to use, has a convenient interface, really saves battery power. However, there is too much advertising in it.

Easy battery saver. It has four charge modes, shows which application draws the most energy, prolongs battery life. However, it is not Russified, which can create individual problems.

2x sleep battery. It prolongs charging well, fun in the interface, easy to use, but not Russified.

These are the solutions. What program do you use to extend battery life?
